W.F. Healey Co. is the only name you need to know for antique restoration work in the Boston area. A lifelong resident of the North Shore of Massachusetts, Bill Healey has been in the restoration and antiques business for more than 30 years.

Education & Training
After attending North Shore Community College for business education and Boston University for historical architecture, Healey started his professional career at a major full services restoration shop that offered cabinetmaking, upholstery finishing, appraisals, and interior design. There, he spent time working with major museums, including Historic New England (formerly S.P.N.E.A), Peabody Essex Museum, and the Lynn Museum and Historical Society.

Business History
Since establishing his own business in 1978, Healey has catered to collectors, interior designers, museums, and antique dealers. He has also been a board member of the Lynn Bicentennial Committee and the Lynn Historical Commission, involved in historical preservation of architecture and sites, and public events.

Extensive Experience
Currently, Mr. Healey does wide-ranging work for the Peabody Historical Society—appraising the collection, restoring furniture and paintings, and also consulting in appropriate placement of the collection's pieces within various galleries and properties.

Beyond Restoration
Mr. Healey was also schooled in horticulture at the Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute, studying landscape design, plant identification, and floral design. He continues to be an avid gardener and paints for pleasure in oils, watercolor, and acrylics. Each of these activities has furthered Mr. Healey's training and instilled in him a great attention to detail and concern for the quality of his completed product.
